Finance Assistant

Reporting into our Management Accountant, you will support the delivery of our Financial controls and improvement projects. In our fast-paced, growing environment you will have an opportunity to make a significant impact on the department’s objectives and contribute to the wider success of the business. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable.
  • Reconcile cashbook accounts on a daily basis.
  • Completion of key monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolution of outstanding items.
  • Support process improvements and represent Finance on projects within the wider business.
  • Support Accounting team to deliver routine and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Support effective financial control environment within the wider business.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Accounts payable experience
  • Financial control experience
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to multi task and re prioritise tasks throughout the day, effectively managing conflicting priorities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with other team members and departments
  • Works as part of a team, demonstrating co-operation and flexibility
